1. What is FortuneCity?

2. How do I get an address on the web or a URL?
FortuneCity offers several ways for you to get a web address or URL. Please click here or on the SIGN UP NOW button above to check out our affordable ad-free hosting plans. If you select the ad-supported free hosting plan, you will be brought to the Join page. Here you must enter a username of your choice, as well as a valid email address. After submitting your information, you'll soon receive an email from FortuneCity confirming the email address you provided. You will be asked to click on a link in the email where you can complete your registration. You may also sign up to receive any informational, entertainment and/or promotional updates you would like. Once this is complete, you're ready to log in to your Page Manager where you'll find information on our page building tool, FileManager, as well as how to upload pages to the web.

3. What is my web address or URL on FortuneCity's free hosting service?
If you signed up for FortuneCity's free hosting service as newuser, your web address or URL would be http://members.fortunecity.com/newuser. This URL is also displayed at the top of your File Manager.

4. Are there guidelines as to what I can and can't put on my home page or site using FortuneCity's free hosting service?

5. Are there limitations on how I may use the free web space you provide?
You may not use the free web space we provide for storage purposes (i.e., graphics, sound or any other non-HTML files) only.

6. Can I change my username?
No. Your unique username is what is used to recognize which URL is yours. If you change your username you will no longer be able to update your page.

10. Can I change the email address under which I joined?
Yes. Click here and enter your username, password, and your new email address.

11. I have forgotten my password and username, and I don't have access to the email address I used to join. What can I do?
Unfortunately there is no way to retrieve your information if you no longer use your email address that you registered with. We advise that you save all of the information from your page and get a new address.
